Public Meeting to Oppose Black Laws held in Mumbai

Kamgar Ekta Committee (KEC), Lok Raj Sangathan, Communist Ghadar Party, CPIML (Liberation), and Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) organized a meeting on 22 Sep in Mumbai to oppose the proposed black law, Maharashtra Protection of internal Security Act (MPISA) and other repressive measures of the Maharashtra government. The meeting was chaired by Justice Suresh, Honorary Chairperson of Lok Raj Sangathan and attended by a number representatives of various workers’ organizations and activists.

The thunder of revolution is reverberating

On the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, a colourful cultural programme was organised in Ramgarh village of Hanumangarh district in Rajasthan. The event was organised jointly by Lok Raj Sangathan, Hind Naujawan Ekta Sabha, Lok Jan Samiti and Ramgarh Seva Samiti. Thousands of school students, youth, women and elders participated in the event.

Study on “Whose State and whose interest?

On 2 October 2016 Lok Raj Sangathan organised a study amongst youth in Patparganj village on the theme “Whose State and in whose interest?” A well prepared presentation was made followed by discussion.

School and college students and young workers full of curiosity, very enthusiastically participated in the presentation and ensuing discussion.

Meeting on the topic ‘Let us understand our martyrs’

On the 109th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Jan Chetna Manch organised a meeting on 28th September 2016 in D.A.V. School in Jakhal Tehsil of Fatehabad district.

Participants in this meeting included political workers, journalists, teachers, youth, women, boys and girls.

The meeting started with a welcome song sung by the students of the D.A.V. School. Subsequently, the participants in the meeting eagerly saw a presentation on the martyrs of India. The meeting was presided over by Professor Neeraj Sharma of the school.

Biggest Indian monopoly capitalists benefit from "Make in India" program

Media sources have recently revealed that Anil Ambani-led Reliance Defence has been chosen as French monopoly defence manufacturer Dassault Aviation’s Indian strategic partner. The joint venture which was formed over a year ago with the acquisition of Pipavav Defence, will “be a key player in the execution of offset obligations” arising from the recent purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets. The Dassault JV will represent its first, official and major defence order.

The struggle of the workers of Honda Motor Cycle and Scooters India (HMSI) for securing justice against the criminal and anti-labour acts of the management in cahoots with the state labour department, police, hired goons, and the government has been brought to the Capital Delhi. The Honda workers are in Delhi on hunger strike, to highlight their just demands and mobilise public support for their struggle.

Villagers killed for protesting land acquisition

Condemn the state terror against Hazaribag villagers!

On October 1, 2016, the police fired against unarmed villagers protesting against their lands being acquired in Hazribag, Jharkhand. At least four were killed on the spot and others died later, while scores of people were injured in baton charges and indiscriminate attacks on villages by the CRPF and other police forces in the area. The villagers were protesting the acquisition of their land for coal mining by two private sub-contractors for the public sector power company, National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).

100 years ago Ghadar Party was formed by Indians in the US.It was historic milestone in our anti-colonial struggle.

The goal of this party was to organise a revolution to liberate our motherland from British servitude and establish a free and independent India with equal rights for all. It believed this to be the necessary condition for our people to hold their heads high anywhere in the world.
